Although the "Devil May Cry" series has never been one of Capcom's best-selling games, the latest work of the series, "Devil May Cry 5", continues to be popular, far exceeding the previous ones.

Capcom revealed in its updated "Platinum Works" page that the sales of "Devil May Cry 5" have now exceeded 10 million sets.This page lists the latest data for all games that sell over one million.

Specifically, as of March 31, 2025, the total sales of "Devil May Cry 5" reached 10.1 million units, of which 9.1 million units were sold in the original version (another 200,000 units were sold in the January-March quarter), and the remaining 1 million units were from the re-release of the "Special Edition".

"Devil May Cry 5" was originally released in March 2019 and is available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.It will be released again on PS5 and Xbox Series platforms in November 2020, for "Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition".
