Recently, Pocketpair, a developer of "Palu Palu", issued an announcement stating that as the continued lawsuits in the past few months have had an impact on the company, some changes will be made to the rules and content of the game as a preventive measure, indicating that "Palu Palu" has not infringed any patents.This amendment is to deal with patent litigation, so these amendments will remain until the result of the lawsuit is confirmed and will not be restored to the previous state.

Specifically, in patch v0.3.11 released on November 30, 2024, the function of "Summoning Pallu Ball" was removed and changed to "Summoning Pallu directly next to the player".Officials confirmed that the change was indeed related to the lawsuit and expressed regret for it, but it was a measure that had to be taken to avoid a wider gaming experience.

It is expected that in patch v0.5.5, "Glide with Paru" will be changed to "Glide with Glide Props".However, Palu in the team will still provide passive gain for gliding.Pocketpair said the change was also disappointing, but was necessary to prevent more development disruptions.

Pocketpair also stated that it will continue to fully develop "Portrait Beast" and provide new content to provide players with a more pleasant gaming experience, and please continue to support it.
