"The Elder Scrolls 4: Remake" received great praise after its release, and many "Starry Sky" mod authors have turned their attention to this new work.
B Society occupies an important position in the open world RPG field. Its "The Elder Scrolls" and "Fallout" series are very popular, and each game has a large number of mods.Even though there were many problems in the early stage of "Starry Sky" release, it attracted many people to make mods. However, after the arrival of "The Elder Scrolls 4: Remake", many Mod authors began to announce the shift of their focus.
The "Starfield Community Patch Group (SFCP)" is one of the most popular mods in N.com, with a volume of 350,000 times. It aims to fix various bugs, errors, problems, etc. that appear in "Starry Sky".However, the mod has not been updated since September 2024, and many players have begun to ask when to update it.
Recently, SFCP developer Pickysaurus responded to the matter, saying: "The team is looking for people who are willing to take over SFCP because the team members generally lack the time or motivation to continue to maintain this patching project."Pickysaurus said, “The rest of the team lost their enthusiasm for Starry Sky for various reasons, such as the lack of replay value (repeatability), issues with paid mods and switching to other new games.”
SFCP members no longer actively develop the mod. Pickysaurus said it would maintain the mod website, but if no one wants to take over, they might terminate the project and recommend users to use Arthmoor's unofficial "Starry Sky" to patch the mod instead.
