Nixxes, a developer of the PC version of "The Last Survivor 2: Remake", released the second update (version number 1.1).This update fixes crash issues reported by players, audio issues when watching the "Grounded" documentary, slider errors in the display menu, and some other issues.
However, this update does not solve the automatic save issue reported by players to Nixxes. In response, Nixxes said it is still working to fix it and provides an interim solution and an explanation of the possible causes of the problem.
Nixxes posted on the X platform: "Our investigation shows that problems may arise when OneDrive or similar cloud services block the write of archive files. As a temporary solution, players are advised to pause OneDrive when playing: Right-click the OneDrive icon in the Windows taskbar, click the gear icon, and select Pause Sync."
"The Last Survivor 2: Remake" was launched on PC in early April. In just over a week, Nixxes has released two updates to quickly respond to major issues reported by players. With Nixxes' current work progress, I believe they will be able to solve the automatic archive problem soon.
