SIE announced that PS5 will increase its price in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East and Africa.The price increase will take effect from April 14 local time.

In a challenging economic environment such as high inflation and exchange rate volatility, SIE has made a difficult decision to increase the suggested retail price (RRP) of PS5 in parts of Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Australia and New Zealand.
The updated PS5 suggested retail price will take effect from April 14, as follows:
PS5 Digital Edition
Europe: 449.99 euros → 499.99 euros
UK: £389.99 → £429.99
Australia: AUD 679.95 → AUD 749.95
New Zealand: 769.95 NZD → 859.95 NZD
PS5 optical drive version
Australia: AUD 799.95 → AUD 829.95
New Zealand: 899.95 NZD → 949.95 NZD
PS5 Pro's suggested retail price remains the same
In addition, the suggested retail price of PS5 optical drive will be lowered from April 14, as follows:
PS5 optical drive accessories
Europe: 119.99 euros → 79.99 euros
UK: £99.99 → £69.99
Australia: AUD 159.95 → AUD 124.95
New Zealand: 169.95 NZD → 139.95 NZD
