Nintendo will launch GameCube for Switch 2 online service subscribers, with the first three very good games: The Legend of Zelda: The Staff of the Wind (somehow never ported to the Switch), Soul Ability 2 (importantly, Link joins as a playable character), and F-Zero GX (a new work in urgent need of this series).

While GameCube is far from Nintendo’s most successful console, it still has a range of representative games that give it a solid position among the niche player base – these games now have the opportunity to target a wider player base with Switch 2.
