There have been several cases before that Monster Hunter: Wilderness A crucial NPC won't show up where they should, Capcom has discovered this and fixed it.

Capcom also previously said it knew there was a problem that prevented some players from unlocking the "Cooking Food" and "Ingredients Center" features after meeting the game's progress standards after the release of the PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC platforms last Friday.

Capcom said it would "deploy a patch to fix known progress barriers tomorrow morning," he said.

It will be available on all platforms at 3 a.m. on March 5, "fixed issues with the unlocking of the Cooking Food and Ingredients Center feature and the blockage of the story process in Chapter 5, Section 2 of the Upside-down World."

Capcom added that after the update is released, any online session will be interrupted and players need to update to continue playing online.
