The security expert team SECUINFRA Falcon has obtained a sample of the game's malware and has analyzed it to be a version of the information stealing program Vidar.SECUINFRA recommends: “If you are one of the players of this ‘game’: consider whether your browser, email client, credentials saved in your cryptocurrency wallet, session cookies and secrets have been leaked.”
Steam has not yet announced how many users are affected by the malware, but according to SteamDB backend data, there may be up to 1,500 people in the game.
