The Korean life simulation game "inZOI" will be available for early access in March. The game introduces a unique element that the character can appear as a ghost after his death, a setting similar to the Sims 4's afterlife world.
Recently, inZOI studio producer Hyungjun Kim revealed that the "inZOI" ghost system will be associated with the "karma" system. He also showed some behaviors that influence causal values, and each citizen has causal values in his profile.Citizens with high enough causality will leave the world peacefully after death, while citizens with low causality will become ghosts and need to wander around to restore the causality.
"We want to keep ghost playability within a limited range so that it doesn't hide the main gameplay, but we also want to make sure that the game experience is attractive enough when the ghost appears," Kim Hyung-joon said.
Ghosts will appear in the early access version of inZOI, but players cannot control them.Kim Hyung-joon said: "In the early access version of "inZOI", you will encounter ghosts at specific conditions and at certain times. In the future, we will further develop ghost systems."
As for future plans, Kim Hyung-joon does not rule out other supernatural elements. He said: "Although we are now committed to perfecting the realistic elements of "inZOI", I hope to explore more fantasy elements in the future," he said.
