Developer Kinetic Games recently released a roadmap for the 2025 update plan for the cooperative horror game "Drogue".The studio shared the next plans through its official website, including 2 major updates, brand new maps, and seasonal events.

The first major update, called "Chronicle", will improve on the way players record evidence during ghost hunting, such as expanding the "Photos" tab to the "Media" tab, allowing players to capture photos, videos, and sounds.In addition, it will include some extra content, but the developer has decided to keep it confidential for the time being and will share it on the eve of the update being launched.

This year the game also plans to "remake" player characters, including updating character models, improving animations and adjusting the overall experience of the character.Developers share that the full character customization feature will be postponed to 2026.

In terms of maps, 3 maps in the game will be remastered, one of which will be released in March, and the other two will be released within the year.Remake the map will receive a complete artistic transformation, including new assets and animations, higher levels of visual details and some partial layout changes.

Additionally, the game will get a new minimap.Developers say that all new maps will be relatively small in the future, but the frequency of map launches will increase accordingly.

Looking ahead to the future beyond 2025, the studio is focusing on preparing for the major update of “Horror2.0” in 2026, which includes more maps and remakes.More related details will be shared sometime in the future.
