Nintendo WiiU's official online service ended in April 2024. Recently, Nintendo Customer Support official social media posted a message to remind players that they have confirmed that there is currently an unauthorized WiiU online service and reminded players not to use such services becauseThis can pose unexpected security risks.

Nintendo Customer Support official social media wrote: "We have confirmed that there are unofficial services that replace Wii U online gaming and other features, and the official services have ended on April 9, 2024. Please do not use such services as they mayIt brings unexpected security risks.”

As mentioned above, WiiU's online service officially ended in April last year, but after that, some fans built homemade network services like "Pretendo" to provide online services to WiiU and 3DS communities. It is not clear whether Nintendo will do it right now.This type of service takes further action.
