Foreign media found that the official website of the North American Entertainment Software Grading Committee (ESRB) has a grading of "Resident Evil 6". The grading information is adult level (M), and the login platform is Xbox Series.
Originally released in October 2012, Resident Evil 6 landed on the PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms, combining elements of "action and survival horror" to present the "epic and dramatic horror experience" described by Capcom.
"Resident Evil 6" was then transplanted to PS4 and Xbox One platforms in 2016 with "Resident Evil 4" and "Resident Evil 5". The picture quality is enhanced and all DLCs released.
Capcom also transplanted "Resident Evil 5" and "Resident Evil 6" to the Switch platform in 2019, and also included all DLCs.
This hierarchy suggests that Resident Evil 6 will be available on the contemporary consoles PS5 and Xbox Series platforms again, and may upgrade the picture again to make full use of the functions of contemporary consoles. But unlike 2, 3, and 4, it should be a replica, not a remake.
It is not clear whether Resident Evil 5 will also have such replica treatments.
