It is reported that these projects have been suspended after NCSoft's internal evaluation of "feasibility".Developers related to these projects were told that the development was terminated at the end of last year and early this year and were ready to move to other projects. One of the cancelled projects also disappeared from the NCSoft company organization chart and therefore appeared to be permanently terminated.
SIE and NCSoft's "Strategic Partnership" signed in 2023
Considering that the Horizon online game has never been officially announced, the official may not announce the cancellation. However, this is another heavy blow to Sony, which is determined to join the real-time service game. The company has canceled multiple planned real-time service games, including last year's "Agent of Star" and Blue Dot Game's "God of War" real-time serviceGames and Bend Studio’s new instant service work.
However, the Horizon multiplayer game may still be under development, with clips originally leaked in 2023.
