According to French media reports, Ubisoft and Saudi company Savvy Games Group reached a partnership, which could bring the two-year-old "Assassin's Creed" to DLC.
It was reported that Ubisoft was hesitant about the development of the DLC in Assassin's Creed: Fantasy, but Ubisoft changed his mind after Ubisoft President Yves Guillemot visited Saudi Arabia.
Interestingly, Assassin's Creed: Fantasy was originally a DLC, but Ubisoft made it into an independent game, which means Ubisoft will develop DLC for a "DLC".
The new DLC is said to be funded by Savvy Games Group, creating more content to attract players from the Middle East. The DLC is still in its early stages of development and may not have official news at the Ubisoft Foward launch later this year.
Ubisoft is already considering a potential acquisition as a worst-case scenario, and the so-called business partnership with the Savvy Games Group could be a lifesaver for the French publisher.
