Ubisoft's first-person shooter "Far Cry: New Dawn" launched in 2019 will usher in a 60fps update. This is great, but the way it is released is even more interesting.

First of all, I have to praise it. It is pretty good to see Ubisoft maintain its past game works, and the time is right, because "Far Cry: New Dawn" will be available on the Xbox Game Pass on February 4.This 60-frame update should be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X at any time.

Now let’s talk about the interesting part.Ubisoft just announced the 60-frame update in an ordinary tweet, which is more or less comparable given the weight of the message. That being said, it looks like Ubisoft had planned to announce it in a more stunning way, but then realized it wouldn't work.

The tweet read: "Well... this is not the way we originally planned to announce it. "Far Cry: New Dawn" will be updated 60 frames on Xbox Series X|S!"

But the problem is.In order to launch this 60-frame update, Ubisoft had to "temporarily" disable the Xbox's "FPS Boost" feature, and before that, it had to tell everyone that it would do this... But this would ruinThe 60-frame update brings a sense of surprise.Basically, it felt like at the last minute, an engineer realized the problem and ran nervously to tell Ubisoft's marketing team about this pretty bad news.

Ubisoft confirmed in a subsequent tweet that the PS5 version of "Far Cry: New Dawn" will also usher in a 60-frame update, but the corresponding PS5 "Game Boost" feature will not be affected, it mayIt is not applicable to "Far Cry: New Dawn".
